The update places a heavy emphasis on PvP as players compete for titles, boosts, and rewards

Just as there are two things that are certain in life – death and taxes – two things are certain in mobile games: PvP and… taxes? CrossFire: Warzone is focusing on both in its new Capital Takeover War update, which will see entire servers take to the battlefield in order to dominate the game.

Today’s update will bring new levels of cooperation and tactical thinking to the game, as Capital Takeover Wars will occur every two weeks, requiring teams to fight for dominance to create the strongest alliance. Any servers over 90 days old will be placed in the middle of the field map, and then, well, you fight.

Whichever alliance wins the next war gets the title of best alliance – or something like that, we don’t know the official name yet. However, we do know that the Alliance Leader will be rewarded with a special title, and they will also be given the ability to assign this title to six other members of their alliance.

In addition to titles, and of course bragging rights, over the next two weeks, players in the ruling alliance will receive special boosts and collect taxes from other alliances on the server. The fee will depend on the resources collected within their base.

After two weeks, the fortnightly capital capture war will rage, and each alliance will once again head to the battlefields to gain supremacy.

The update also improves the secret laboratory system within the game, adding new difficulty levels and characteristics to participating units. In addition, you will receive more rewards for diplomacy, as well as of course the elimination of terrorists and agricultural resources.

If you’ve ever wanted to show your superiority over entire servers, now is the time to put your money where your mouth is. Of course, you can always check out our list of the best mobile multiplayer games if you’re looking for something new.
