Niantic is bringing Pokémon GO Party play to millions of people by letting you breed armies of four. Raids, battles and adventures together to complete group challenges.
There is no I in Pokémon, but there is we in Weedle. There is also a team in Team Rocket, but it doesn’t work as well. Anyway, good news, Niantic is updating Pokémon GO with a cool new feature that’s all about playing with your friends. The new Pokémon GO Party Play feature means you can team up with up to three friends (creating a party of four) and go on adventures together for fun new rewards.
Niantic is adding Pokémon Go Party Play tomorrow, October 17, 2023, and from there you can group up to adventure together. Pokemon Go is introducing new Party Challenges that you can complete by playing with friends. Form a group to fight and attack together, and when you’re in a group, you also get a bonus move on attacks, making your next attack do double the damage. Equip your strongest Pokémon; The attacks are about to change!
You must be level 15 or higher to unlock Pokemon Go Party Play, and from there you will gain access to new features and new party challenges. When you complete them, you can get fun new rewards like an Eevee avatar t-shirt. Then, when you’re done fighting or playing with your friends, you get an activity summary to show you the highlights of your session. This feels like the beginning of this group game and we’re excited to see it grow. Furthermore, we bet with an Azure Flute that this is how Niantic presents Finizen and its evolution, Palafin.
